ATLANTIS PROJECT
The Atlantis Project Fellowship equips the next generation of medical leaders to pursue their callings. During the summer of 2016, for 5 weeks, I will be shadowing doctors for 20+ hours a week, exploring international healthcare, and discovering my beautiful program location in Zaragoza, Spain.
PI BETA PHI - ARIZONA GAMMA
Pi Beta Phi is a fraternity for women. Through this organization I do a lot of volunteer work. Our philantropy is Read > Lead > Achieve. With this, we go around to the nearby elementary schools in Flagstaff and we help them learn how to read as well as encourage them to read daily. Helping children learn how to read is not the only volunteer work we do as a chapter. We also do other small community volunteer work around the town of Flagstaff. For example, we volunteer at high school consession stands and we help out with community events.
NORTH COUNTRY HEALTHCARE
North Country Healthcare is dedication to providing comprehensive primary healthcare services. Our providers deliver compassionate, expert healthcare from preventive care to unexpected illness to chronic disease management. I have been volunteering with North Country Healthcare for about a year now and it has been nothing short of amazing. I have helped them with health fairs, assisting patients with applications, and much more.
